The fund's assets are invested in accordance with the principle that investments must be responsible, environmentally friendly, green, ethical, sustainable, anti-climate change, resource-efficient or have a lower greenhouse gas footprint than other investment opportunities.
Roheline III will be allowed to take on a higher degree of concentration risk, as well as to invest in asset classes in which it was not previously allowed to invest. For example, Roheline III can now invest up to a quarter of the Fund’s assets in green transition-related precious metals and raw materials.

Managers
Jani Mäenpää has worked at LHV for more than 10 years, starting as an equity investment analyst in 2014 and since 2020, he has been working as an equity investment portfolio manager for LHV´s actively managed pension funds. As of August 2024, Jani is the portfolio manager of LHV Pension Fund Green and LHV Pension Fund Green III. Jani holds a Master's degree in Business Administration and a Bachelor's degree in Investment Management from EBS. In addition, he holds an MSc in Agriculture and Forestry from the University of Helsinki and has studied law at the University of Law and earth systems and geotechnology at TalTech. Jani Mäenpää holds the CFA Certificate in ESG Investing.
