The mass query is for organizations with a large number of employees, where it would be too complicated for the accountant to use the simple query. AS Pensionikeskus as Estonian Pension Register (EPR) has developed a file format that allows to send the personal identification codes of their employees.

The EPR performs a mass query and returns the file to the company, with a result of the query provided after each personal identification code (similar to the result of the simple query).

The price of the mass query is €30, no value added tax will be added to the service. One mass query can include up to 4,000 identification codes. The price for a query with more than 4,000 identification codes is subject to negotiations.

To make a query:

• Submit a digitally signed (with ID card) application for the persons who have subscribed to the mandatory funded pension to the AS Pensionikeskus e-mail address info@pensionikeskus.ee.

• Submit the file with employees identification codes (TXT or XLS format, so that each ID-code would be on a separate line) to e-mail info@pensionikeskus.ee. The application and file can be in one digitally signed container.

Results of the mass query:

• EPR sends the query result as a TXT file to the e-mail address pointed in the order-form,
• EPR sends an invoice to the company’s post address.

Mass query change in 2020: temporary suspension of contributions

During October 2020, an application for temporary suspension of contributions can be submitted. It will suspend the calculation of 2% of the funded pension payments from your salary.

Upon submission of the application, the payment of the 2% payment shall be suspended from the 1st of December 2020 until the 31st of August 2021.

Information about the application will be added to the funded pension mass inquiry: a “J” or “E” will be added to the answer file, depending on whether the person submitted or did not submit that application during October 2020.
