Kaidi Oone Appointed Acting Chairman Of The Tallinn Stock Exchange.

As of today the Council of the Tallinn Stock Exchange decided to appoint Ms Kaidi Oone as new acting Chairman of the Tallinn Stock Exchange Management Board and Vice President Baltic Markets. The OMX also decided to appoint Mr. Gert Tiivas as a Member of the Council.

In her new position, Ms Kaidi Oone will be responsible for strategic and continuous development of the Tallinn Stock Exchange and the Estonian CSD. Ms Kaidi Oone has worked as Managing Director of Estonian CSD in the Tallinn Stock Exchange. Ms Oone started at OMX in year 2001.

“One of the most important assignments is to assure cooperation with Estonian companies – to supply professional service and support for listing companies on the stock exchange. I see great perspectives both for the stock exchange and registry, which need to be achieved to assure the continuous development of Estonian economy,” added Oone.

As of March 1, Mr Johan Rudén is President of the Baltic Markets, which includes the Exchanges of Tallinn, Riga and Vilnius as well as the central securities depositories in Estonia and Latvia. As of January 1 2005, Mr. Gert Tiivas heads up the unit OMX Exchanges Growth Markets. He is responsible for developing new business opportunities in Central and Eastern Europe and in Russia. Mr Jaanus Erlemann, former chairman of the Tallinn Stock Exchange Management Board will leave the company for new challenges by the end of June.
