Explanation of the Pension Account Balance and Statement

  1. Contact data in the funded pension register. To change the data, enter into the pension register at https://register.pensionikeskus.ee or contact a suitable bank office. You can also change the data through any of the internet banks without using the My Account authorisation channel.
  2. Name of the unit of the pension fund that belongs to you.
  3. Net asset value or NAV of a unit on the date of the statement. The net asset value of a unit is the net asset value of the fund, divided by the number of all issued and non-redeemed units. The net asset value of a unit is calculated on each working day.
  4. Number of units that belong to you on the date of the statement.
  5. Net asset value of the units that belong to you as on the date of the statement. Net asset value of units = number of units x net asset value of a unit.
  6. Total value of the funded pension saved by you, expressed in the euro as well as in Estonian kroons.
  7. Value of the balance at the rate of national pension. This value is necessary when a person reaches the retirement age, when the payment opportunities are calculated at the rate of national pension. The value is received by dividing the net asset value of the investment by the value of the applicable rate of national pension (new value calculated each year).

  3. Selected pension fund.
  4. Initial balance – the number of units at the beginning of the period of statement.
  5. Date when the units were issued to the pension account.
  6. Price at which the units were issued.
  7. Number of units issued.
  8. Number of units that belong to you at the end of the period of the statement.
  9. Number of units of a pension fund issued during the period of the statement.
  10. Number of units redeemed from the pension account for you during the period of the statement. Units are redeemed for example for making funded pension payments or making transfers to the insurance company.
  11. Sums received at the pension account in the currency valid during the period of the statement.
  12. Sum of the funded pension contribution received to the pension account from the Tax and Customs Board.
  13. Sum for which units of a pension fund were issued to the pension account.
  14. Closing balance.
