Swedbank Pension Fund K1990-1999 Index is established as life-cycle fund (generation fund) with a so called passive investment strategy, meaning that the management company invests the assets of the fund into financial instruments that track global equity indices that are mainly based on market capitalization of undertakings of developed countries as well as bond indices consisting mainly of investment grade instruments and denominated in euros and the management company reduces the ratio of instruments carrying equity risk in the fund´s assets over time as the pension age of the target investors approaches. The fund is established with a fixed term, meaning that upon its term (2066) the fund shall be terminated.
